Cute little pendant made from sterling silver and lovely little trillion cut serpentine. It has been oxidized to bring out the darker colors in the stone. The stone is a triangle with 1/2" sides. The entire pendant is about 1" in diameter.
The sturdy sterling sterling silver chain features a lobster claw clasp and is approx 18"long.
Serpentine is a loose assortment of minerals, some of which can used as a source of magnesium and asbestos, and as a decorative stone. The more attractive and durable varieties are called "noble" or "precious" serpentine and are used extensively as gems and in ornamental carvings. Gem quality serpentine does not contain asbestos.
